Postiliikennettä kuukausien takaa

Tälläinen blogimerkintä oli luonnoksissa, jäänyt jostain syystä julkaisematta. Tää postaus on kirjoitettu jo useampi kuukausi sitten :')

Maailmalle lähteneitä posteja. Nämä on aika pitkältä aikaväliltä, ja osa onkin jo päässyt päämääräänsä. Tässä on vaan osa lähettämästäni postista. Jotenkin muistan että kuviakin pitäisi ottaa vasta silloin kun oon käynyt jo tipauttamassa postit postilaatikkoon -__-

To. Singapore. Päässyt perille jo aikoja sitten. Lähetin hänelle Muumi-kynän.

To. The United States(kirjotin eka vahingossa: The United Stares :D). Kirje kirjekaverille. Tämänkin lähetin jo hyvän aikaa sitten, ja vastauksenkin olen jo saanut.

From. The United States. Vastauskirje yllä olevaan kirjeeseen.

Harry Potter -postimerkkejä! JEE!

Japanilaiselta kirje/swappikaverilta.

Paketin sisältö oli pakattu sievästi pikkupusseihin.

Pikkupaketeista paljastui kaksi paperiteippirullaa, jonkinlainen pinssi ja itsetehty syntymäpäiväkortti!

Parempi kuva teippejen kuvioista. (jos tosta kuvasta nyt mitään selvää saa..)

Greetings From China

Long time no see! I just realized that I've totally abandoned my blog. Many things have happened and I simply haven't had time for snail mailing *sob* I have a large pile of letters I should reply to, hopefully I'll get to them soon. So what have I been up to lately? One of my dreams came true and I visited China this summer :) Surely I'll tell my penpals about my trip in more detail in my letters. Now I'll show you my snail mail themed purchases. I didn't buy a lot. My Chinese acquaintance told me about a  good store where I could buy masking tapes etc. but unfortunately we were unable to find it *crying* So I mostly bought clothes :D

Letter sets and small gift bags from DAISO. Everything was only 10yuan/piece! I love Daiso very much, it became my favorite shop. It's full of cute Japanese stuff :)

Pencil case(from Daiso), correction tape, panda pens and postcard booklet.

This is from Hong Kong. The most special panda card I've ever seen!

The pandas are stickers. I'll never use them!

Simple writing paper and envelopes.

Sorry for the bad photo quality :(

I'll try to update my blog again soon!

Lastly, thank you everybody who've sent me comments during my absent :) I deeply appreciate them although I haven't had time to reply them >_< Welcome all new readers !!

A Present from China

Tämmöinen pieni paketti saapui pari viikkoa sitten Kiinasta. Pitkäaikainen swap-kaveri lähetti minulle myöhäisen syntymäpäivälahjan!

Kuori oli täynnä hienoja postimerkkejä.

Paketista paljastui vaikka mitä pikkuista kivaa. Kirjepapereita..

pikkuisia kirjekuoria ja kirjepaperisetti..

Lähikuvaa. Toi kisu-kuori on niin söpö, etten varmaan henno käyttää sitä ikinä :3

Ja paljon tarroja!

Niin söpöjä ´w`

My Birhday

I had birthday about a week ago and I received some amazing cards and presents from my dear pen friends ♡♥(。´▽`。)♥♡

Firstly this packet arrived already three days in advance from my Finnish penpal friend!

"Open on 13.3." oh boy you can't imagine how hard it was to resist unwrapping the packet earlier! This packet was such a nice surprise from her and I didn't expect her to send me anything at all!

Finally it was time to open up the packet. I love all the little gifts! Thank you, Tuuli  。◕‿◕。

My Singaporean penpal sent this adorable elephant birthday card to me!

This small packet arrived to me day after my bday. It came from my frequent postcard-swap partner in Singapore! She had told me earlier that a packet was on its way to me so I was looking forward to it excitedly!

The packet was filled with panda! Very adorable bday present and I love everything very much !!

Inside this small bag was my name stickers and panda magnet.

Isn't this card adorable? It's handmade by her!

Stamp about Kai Kai and Jia Jia pandas >w< They were sent to Singapore zoo from China to celebrate the two countries' good diplomatic relationship.

Lastly this packet arrived from South Korea, sent my by sweet penpal.

She sent me a long letter, Waxing Color for hair(honestly the best product I've ever put on my hair!) and an eye shadow palette.

Actually just few weeks ago I saw this palette on the Internet, and I really liked it so I added it to my "to buy list". So it happens that my friend sent the exact one to me now! What a coincidence, right!

Happy Mail Week!

Incoming mail 10.-14.3. I haven't got lots of mail lately, but this week my mail box was extremely happy! This is only a part of the mail I received, I'll dedicate an entire entry to my birthday mail, which I'll post later >w<

Small swap from Japan. The envelope is so beautiful.

Stamps.

Swap from Taiwan. I sent her Moomin stuff and she sent me these two memo sheet pads in exchange.

Stamps.

Small swap from Singapore. She decorated her letter so nicely!

First time to see these Singaporean stamps!

She sent me masking tape samples and an eraser.

Wax seal and my experience

I bought this wax seal set from Tiimari's bankrupt sales. I've wanted to try wax sealing for a long time so I was overjoyed when I finally got this set into my hands!

I store all my wax equipment in this cute pouch.

All my wax and the seals! I also bought another set with different wax colors. I was very curious to try them out. I was afraid I would cause a huge mess but the whole progress was easy peasy and done in just minutes!

Seal designs.

This is all you need for sealing your envelopes: wax, a seal and matchsticks!

Light up the wax!

Carefully melt the wax into a small round shape~

After you have enough wax on the envelope, kill the fire.

Here you must be fast and use the seal as soon as possible before the wax solidifies!

This guy here just keep spreading and spreading smoke!

Sealed! It was my first time to try sealing so it didn't turn out to be perfect. :(

Still spearing smoke like no tomorrow.. :o
and still...i don't know what's wrong with this individual xD

Another try with another wax color~

Sealing.

Ready. J for Jenny! There wasn't enough wax on the envelope so it looks poor ( ̄o ̄;)

As you can see the golden one STILL keep spreading smoke while the red one isn't!

I sent one of the envelopes I sealed to my friend in Singapore to see how the seal would survive. I've read that some seals may broke in mail depending on what kind of wax you use. After my friend received my envelope, she gave me her report. Unfortunately the seal had dropped off on its way to Singapore!! I don't know how that's possible and I'm so disappointed. Maybe it's because of the envelope's material? I dunno..I'll try sealing again another time!
