Private Swap with A Girl In The Netherlands

A while ago I agreed to swap with this girl. We were supposed to send a few postcards among other things. This is how my parcel to her looked like:
I'm kinda pleased with how the envelope turned out to be! I covered the whole white envie with my favorite masking tape ^w^ I purchased that yellow tape only a couple of weeks ago, but already more than half of the roll is gone!! I've used it everywhere :D

The packet she sent to me. I also liked how she had decorated her envie!

This is what were inside her parcel. I absolutely loved all she sent! I've already used all of those loose letter paper sheets she sent me hahaha. She also sent me a bunch of postcards but I was unsuccessful at photographing them :'(

Swap Request via Facebook

Some time ago a girl from The Netherlands approached me on Facebook!
Vähän aikaa sitten alankomaalainen tyttö otti minuun yhteyttä Facebookissa!

She had found me through a mutual Facebook friend and so she asked me to have a small swap with her as she loves Finland, and even studies the language! This was such a pleasant surprise and I couldn't do anything else but agree to her swap request!:)

This is what I sent her: cut-offs from news and magazines (she asked if I could send her them so she can learn Finnish with them), Fazer's chocolate bars, Moomin gum, Moomin tea, salty liquorice  pastels and gum, cards, a Moomin magnet, and a moose key chain. I hope she'll like everything.

The packet I sent the items in. // Tässä paketissa tavarat lähtivät matkaan. Toi on sellainen Seppälän lahjapakkaus, jonka oon joskus säästänyt:D

Her packet to me: // Hänen lähetyksensä minulle:

Stamps. Those kind of stamps are the only ones I've ever received from The Netherlands. Don't they have any other stamps there??
Postimerkit. Eikö Alankomaissa ole muuta postimerkkitarjontaa, kun tuntuu, että oon aina saanut sieltä vaan noita lamppu-merkkejä? :/

What she sent me: potcards, tea, small cow-note book, jewels, candy, cat pouch, stickers.
Hän lähetti minulle kortteja, teetä, pienen lehmä-vihkon, koruja, karkkia, kisupussukan ja tarroja.

Close-up of the postcards. I love them!! // Lähikuva korteista. Tykkään niistä paljon, varsinkin tosta alimmaisesta.

Stationery swaps (received)

Envelopes and letter paper sheets swap from my partner in the States.

I really liked the vintage-style papers she sent for me ^,^

new air mail envelopes yay!

Envelope Frenzy from The Netherlands.
This is the greatest envelope I've ever received!! So amazing mail art~ I could have given her 5+♥ only for this envelope, that's how much I liked it :))

Even the contents were amazing. I loved all the envelopes she sent for me -- especially the handmade! And look how special envie she sent me; an envelope made out of a milk can!!

She also sent me stamps as an extra. For once I get other than the bulb stamp from The Netherlands, yay!! (For every single mail I've gotten from The Netherlands, there has been the bulb stamp on it. I already started wondering whether it's the only stamp available in The Netherlands :D)

Private swap Finland+The Netherlands

I had a private swap with Jessica in the Netherlands. We were supposed to send each other five profile based items and I am now going to show what I received from her!

The package looked very neat and pretty!

And this is what were inside the packet. She sent me chewing gum(I forgot to take a picture of them), Cinnamoroll note-book, stickers, postcards of The Netherlands, postal stamps and kawaii/cute envelopes and letter paper sheets. I loved everything she sent for me; especially those letter paper sheets. She sent me dozens of them!! I am always in a never-ending need of writing paper, so it's good!!

Close-up picture of the stamps. She sent me sooo much of them! I like to explore them.

Some of my favorite stamps.

 Close-ups of the post cards:

Thank you so much for everything, Jessica ^_^

A mysterious packet =D

Today when I woke up, this envelope was waiting for me. I had no idea why it had arrived to me !

When I opened the envelope, there were this bag:
(the bag itself should have rang some bells, but no.)

I thought it's for the Hello Kitty-swap because I saw a piece of Hello Kitty inside the bag.
But it wasn't for the HK swap...
My second thought was "it must be for the Snail Mail Kit that I joined recently!" <--- But it couldn't be possible because the partners were assigned only few days ago!

This is what were inside of the bag:
Letter paper, envelopes, stickers, memo sheets.... Sooo much nice cute stuff >w<

Then I saw this note. The packet was the Kawaii Lucky Bag that Moni promised to send me!!=D
Actually she told me a few days before the packet arrived, that she had sent it, but I didn't remember it anymore(maybe because it was morning so I was still half asleep :D)
Anyway, I like the Lucky Bag alot, thank you Moni!

(it is supposed to look like Hello Kitty =D)

This is my Hello Kitty-lucky bag that I promised to send for Christine. I'll send it as soon as possible! Honestly her address was too hard to write, I re-wrote it like three times until all the letters were in the right places =D

Lucky Bag: the idea of LB is to offer several items(eg. Hello Kitty, kawaii, teabags, snail mail kit,,,..) and the person who wants one of them, will tag you and you'll send her the items in a bag, and then she will offer something to someone else and so on! :)
